The course of treatment is 7-14 days, if necessary repeated after 5-7 days (under the control of a blood test). In case of nausea or vomiting, the drug is taken after meals.

For prostate hypertrophy, in the first 2 weeks, 500 thousand units are prescribed 3 times a day, then 500 thousand units 4 times a day. The course of treatment is 3 months. After 10-15 days, the course of treatment is repeated.

In the form of buccal tablets, which dissolve in the mouth within 10-15 minutes, 500 thousand units are prescribed 2-4 times a day; children 3-10 years old - 125 thousand units 3-4 times a day, 10-15 years old - 250 thousand units 2-4 times a day. The course of treatment is 7-14 days; if necessary, repeat after 5-7 days (under the control of a blood test).

In the form of an aqueous suspension (powder for preparing a solution for topical use) in a dilution of 1:500, it is prescribed for rinsing the mouth 2-3 times a day for 15-20 days. The suspension should not enter the respiratory system. In the form of the same suspension, the drug is used for wetting tampons in the treatment of diseases of the mucous membranes of the genital organs in women; the course of treatment is 15-20 days.

Vaginal tablets are inserted into the vagina after douching with a 0.5-1% sodium bicarbonate solution and drying with a cotton-gauze swab. The tablets are first moistened with distilled or boiled water and 250-500 thousand units are administered 2 times a day into the area of ​​the posterior fornix. The course of treatment is 14 days. If necessary, a repeat course is given after 2-3 weeks (during the period between menstruation).

Side effects
